SMS and Voice Messaging Terms
The FLTCIP is sponsored by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), insured by John Hancock Life & Health Insurance Company, and administered by FedPoint®. FedPoint is the trade name of Long Term Care Partners, LLC®. Throughout these terms, FedPoint is referred to as "us," "we," and "our."
Authentication
FedPoint has set up a one-time passcode (OTP) for LTCFEDS that will generate upon each authentication attempt to link your Login.gov and LTCFEDS.gov accounts. The OTP message will come from LTCFEDS and will expire after 5 minutes.
SMS and Voice Messaging Consent
As part of the authentication during the sign-in process of your LTCFEDS.gov account, LTCFEDS (operated by FedPoint) will send you a single-use OTP code for authentication via SMS text message or automated voice call for the purpose of verifying your identity and linking your LTCFEDS.gov account with Login.gov.
By clicking "Text me" or "Call me", during the sign-in process, you:
- consent to receive a one-time SMS or voice call for authentication from LTCFEDS
- understand that message and data rates may apply
- acknowledge that consent is not a condition of purchase
SMS terms and conditions
- You will receive one message or call per authentication request. This is not a recurring subscription service.
- Your carrier’s messaging and data rates may apply.
- Messages will only be sent as part of linking your LTCFEDS.gov and Login.gov accounts.
- To opt out, reply STOP to any message from LTCFEDS. You will receive a confirmation. Note: Requesting a new authentication code in the future will constitute re-opting in to receive a specific OTP message.
- See our privacy notice for privacy policy information.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- For support or questions, reply HELP to any message from LTCFEDS, visit LTCFEDS.gov/contact, or call 1-877-888-3337 TTY 711.
